On June 24th representatives of the Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation traveled to The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, to meet with Dr. E. Antonio Chiocca, a principal researcher at The Ohio State University Medical Center and Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery, and his research assistants Drs. Jakub Godlewski and Sean Lawler for an update on their recent research into the causes and cure of pediatric brain cancers. Hosting and coordinating the visit were Ms. Cynthia DeJacimo, Director of Foundation Relations and Ms. Wendy Pestrue, Director of Development, both from the OSU Medical Center.

In 2004, JTHF established The Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation Postdoctoral Endowed Fellowship in Pediatric Brain Tumor Research at The Ohio State University Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and the Richard L. Solove Research Institute. To date, the foundation has donated $250,000 to support this Endowed Fellowship. JTHF will continue its commitment to this Fellowship in the months and years ahead. The fund is also open to additional contributions from outside donors who may contact Cynthia DeJacimo at 614-292-9904 for detailed information.
