On December 11, 2008, Thomas Hayden, Executive Director of the Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation (JTHF), presented a check for $75,000 to Cynthia DeJacimo, Director of Foundation Relations at the Ohio State University Medical Center, as part of the commitment JTHF has made to The Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation Postdoctoral Endowed Fellowship Fund in Pediatric Brain Tumor Research at the Ohio State University Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and the Richard L. Solove Research Institute. The fund connects researchers at The Ohio State University with doctors at various children’s hospitals with the goal of providing doctors an insight to the leading-edge research being done at OSU and to provide feedback to the researchers on promising treatment options.

JTHF sponsors several annual fundraising events such as the JTHF Family Fun Walk, the JTHF Golf Classic, and the JTHF Play Ball Dinner Auction coming up on March 28, 2009, to help support the Endowed Fellowship at The Ohio State University and other foundation efforts in the fight against pediatric brain cancer. Visit www.jthf.org to learn more about the foundation and how your gift can help make a difference.
